Digital Printing Production Overview

The primary advantages of digital inkjet printed tags are the reduced initial costs and no additional fees for expedited turnaround times. With digital inkjet printing technology, there is no need for costly and time-consuming setup of films and screens required for industrial tag screen-printing. Instead, digital images and photos are applied by four-color and six-color inline process inkjet printers. Digital technology also allows for unlimited tag personalization. Since each image can be easily changed, individual tags can be numbered or modified with information like barcodes or other data.

Prototypes and short runs of digitally printed industrial tags realize the most per tag savings over screen-printing. However, when outdoor durability, large quantities, or Pantone color-matching are required, screen-printing is the industrial printing method of choice.

Etched Metal provides several digital formats including UV Digital Printing, Thermal Printing, and also wide ranging digital printing with an EFI printer.

Printing size capabilities range from 1” x 1” to 48” x 96” in sheet format to 54” wide x determined length in roll format.   We provide graphic solutions that meet all your requirements.
